Ready to serve dressing

The dressing to prepare in a large quantity at the beginning of the week to use in daily salads.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 ml) canola oil
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) Dijon mustard
  • ⅓ cup (85 ml) apple & maple balsamic
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) finely chopped gray shallot
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a 2 cup (500 mL) Mason-style jar. Close the lid and shake well. Store in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
